Face-to-face work during Covid 19
Risk Assessment September 2020:
The room allows 2 metres distance between client and counsellor. It is well ventilated and cleaned weekly, with cleaning of armrests and door handles between sessions.
The bathroom is adjacent to the practice room; clients will wash their hands before and after sessions. The bathroom is also given a clean between sessions (taps, door handle, toilet flush handle, etc)
The front door will be unlatched and clients will let themselves in. The counsellor will be seated in the room and the client will wash his or her hands then come into the room and take a seat. At the end of each session the counsellor will remain in the room, and the client will wash hands and leave.
The room is only used for counselling, and I am the only counsellor using the space - so there is no risk of these measures being compromised.
